Been a while
Today Darren Aronofsky came to speak about The Wrestler. i was so slammed that i didn’t think i’d be able to make it to the screening, but i reminded myself that that was the reason i was working here in the first place. Sure sure, making them is tremendous fun and all, but the whole reason is to watch the finished product. The Wrestler was a winner, and the Q&A was great; he’s got a good way of describing the experiences of set and film production that stays informative without being pedantic or overly cerebral. Afterwards, i introduced myself andi gave him a copy of Alone, and i was self-conscious about my hands being too clammy because that damn theatre’s always freezing.
Well, i’m up at some silly hour, and what am i doing? i’m working on a patent for work. Hooray for me. What defines a billable hour anymore?
